What are the Milling Types?
In the milling process, the cutting tool becomes activated and starts to make some circular movements on its axis. The teeth around the tool play a supporting role in this movement. In this way, the chip removal process can be carried out.
Milling operations are handled in different ways, depending on their mode of action. The milling process is classified into two different groups as circumferential and facet methods. In face milling, the chip is removed with the support of the teeth on the face of the tool. However, in circumferential milling, the related operation is performed directly through the teeth located around the tool.
